Oceanografic

The Oceanografic is a part of the Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias. At the Oceanografic the ecosystems of the planet’s main seas and oceans, including the Mediterranean Sea, the Arctic and Antarctic Oceans and the Red Sea, are simulated. You can admire more than 45000 examples of 500 different marine species like mantra rays, sharks, beluga whales and sea lions. The Oceanografic is also home to a dolphinarium, an auditorium, different gardens with all kinds of plants and even an underwater restaurant. A nice fact about the Oceanografic is that in total the aquariums contain 42 million liters of water!

Valencia Bioparc

The Valencia Bioparc is a fantastic new generation zoo, where animals live together in huge areas, located in the Turia Gardens of the old river channel. Different kinds of habitats, like the African savanna, are recreated. Here you can watch beautiful animals like lions, leopards, elephants and giraffes. Playa Malvarossa

Valencia is one of the few citybreak destinations that are close to beautiful beaches. One of the best beaches of Valencia is called Playa Malvarossa a little bit outside the city centre near the Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias. Here you can enjoy a wonderful day at the beach.
