As the concentration of hotels is high, prices (and quality) vary a lot. If you have one specific hotel in mind, you better try to see some reviews to know about the exact facilities and to hear experiences of earlier travellers. Since hotels here are further away, prices are lower. In this area you’ll also easily find some place for dinner. If you want to explore some of the bars of Rome, you can easily get to San Lorenzo or to the piazza Bologna area. There is a large choice of hostels, too.

Trastevere Rome

Trastevere is one of the most popular and charming neighbourhoods of Rome. Here, you’ll still see some remains of the traditional life. Over the years, the area has gotten very popular under young people and tourist. If you manage to find a good offer in this part of town, it’s definitely worth it. Through the many bridges and the little island in the Tiber it will be easy to cross the river to see the attractions that are situated on the other side.
